Incase you missed our Virtual Forest Party last night, we previewed the Regenerate NZ Web App!
TLDR: You can now login to your Regenerate NZ web app with the email address you signed up with and begin contributing to your Regenerate NZ Wallet.
As an outcomes focused team we know every week counts towards hitting our goal of buying our first forest by April 2022.
This week we assessed our key components to providing the wallet were:
Transparency - You should know what your balance is at all times.
Progress - You should easily be able to tell how we are progressing towards our goal.
Fees - 100% money in, 100% impact. Options for the lowest/no transaction fees to contribute.
On review we were not quite hitting our desired outcome through what we were envisioning with the Open Collective platform and henceforth pivoted.
The result is our very own app and we are super stoked to have this now live!!!
How it works
The Regenerate NZ Wallet is the beginning of our first forest journey where we are looking to build up our $100,000 deposit in order to buy our first forest by April 2022.
It has been setup to show you how you can start your weekly reoccurring payments at instalments you are comfortable with.
In our first release we have given you the option to set a weekly contribution via bank transfer. This enables 100% of your money to go into your wallet.
We will be looking to introduce Credit Card and Debit Card payments soon (watch this space).
A very important piece of information you need to understand is that the money you contribute to your wallet will not be used for investment at this time. It is purely a saving system for our earliest adopters and fans to build up enough funds to be ready to pull the trigger and purchase our first forest in April 2022.
When we have confirmed the forest in which we plan to purchase you will be asked if you would like to invest your Regenerate NZ Wallet funds into this forest opportunity.
At anytime you are able to withdraw your funds by emailing us directly or pressing the "question mark" button in the web app.

We are working on getting Credit Card payments setup as soon as possible. This will allow you to contribute using credit card transfers BUT please note there will be transaction fees involved of 2.9% + $0.30 (NZD) per transaction.

Welcome and Sign In
The sign in process has been setup to accept the email address you used to sign up to Regenerate NZ.
There is a link to the T&C's that provide you with confirmation on how your money is going to be banked.
Step 1: Enter you email and confirm you have read our T&C
Step 2: You will then receive a unique pin number to your inbox that confirms you are you. You're signed in!

Now that you have logged in you can see how we are progressing towards our goal. Every 3 business days we will be updating funds that have been deposited into members accounts to update the progress bar.
Start Contributing
Learn how to setup your weekly reoccurring payment using your unique reference number which is how we can identify funds you deposit and contribute them towards your wallet balance.
Wallet
This is where you can easily check up on how much money you have contributed to your wallet and our goal of buying our first forest!!
